This is a cover I made of Hands Down. I recorded both the guitar and the vocals. This song is a bit of a stretch for me to sing because I have a deeper voice, but I’ve been working on hitting the notes for awhile now. I tried to remain faithful to the So Impossible EP version of the song. Hope you enjoy it.

also see Part 2: www.youtube.com This is the beginning of Revelations: Persona. That is, not the FMV intro but the actual gameplay, right up until Philemon asks the protagonist to name him/her self. and, now, I started a new playthru, first vid: www.youtube.com The cool thing is the new playthru uses better tech. to get a cleaner, more well proportioned image! Hurray! For some reason, there doesn’t seem to be any video of the Philemon FMV… this and Part 2 www.youtube.com cover it as well as show a little bit of the gameplay.
This is my interpretation of ‘Asleep’ by The Smiths. Of course, the original is just piano and vocals, so it was quite a challenge to translate it to guitar and keep the base notes relatively intact. At the time of writing it’s the only guitar version I’ve ever heard of ‘Asleep’, so I’ve nothing to compare it to for accuaracy, but it sounds convincing enough. It’s not the complete instrumental, just an exerpt showing you how to play each section. It’s very nice to play, especially on an acoustic. There’s a part in it where you have to stretch across 5 frets, which can be tricky! Sorry, but you have to do this stretch because the low E is dropped to a D as that is the lowest bass note in the song. I’ll write up the TAB and send it to smithsonguitar.blogspot.com when I get a minute. Guitar: Epiphone Hummingbird Tuning: DADGBE I’ve also recorded a version which features just my left hand so you can see the positions in more detail. See my other videos for that.
My interpretation of ‘Asleep’ by The Smiths. I’ve also recorded an acoustic version, but I think my playing is better in this one – not as many squeeky slides, which always sound worse on an acoustic.
